OTD February 27th - Black History Month

#OnThisDay in 1833, Maria W. Stewart gave an important speech at the African Masonic Hall in Boston. Stewart was an essayist, lecturer, abolitionist, and women's rights activist. She was the earliest known woman to lecture in public on political issues and the first Black American woman to publish a political manifesto.
